AI Makeup Studio uses your device's camera to capture facial photographs for the following purposes:
What face data we collect: Your facial photograph is captured using your device's front-facing camera. On-device facial landmark detection (using Google ML Kit) processes head orientation, smile probability, and eye openness data locally on your device. This on-device data never leaves your phone.
How face data is processed: Your facial photograph is sent securely via encrypted HTTPS connection to Google AI (Gemini API) for face analysis, and to our AI image processing service for makeup generation. These services process your photo in real-time to generate results and return them to the app.
Data retention: Your facial photographs are NOT stored on any server after processing. Photos are transmitted, processed, and immediately discarded by the third-party AI services. No facial photographs or face data are retained, archived, or stored in any database by us or our third-party service providers.
